Scott Tom and his lawyer have threatened legal action against me for this post. I’ve taken it down, cause I dont really feel like dealing with their crap.

Justin – this is the best summary of “the incident” I have seen yet! I had no idea about the IP address being registered in Costa Rica, and that he was user# 363 until I read your blog! It will be very interested to see how this plays out over the next few weeks!
Justin,
This is a very recap of the entire situation. I do agree that by AP being silent throughout this whole thing, it puts affiliates in an extremely tough situation. There is just too much evidence now for them to simply deny something was going on.
This really does show the power of the internet forums and how much information can be uncovered when the masses work together towards one common goal….. the truth.
In regards to many of the big affiliates removing AP completely. I think several are waiting to see what unfolds next or if AP is going to make a statement.
Great summary Justin!!
I’ve been following this story for a while now and after carefully reviewing the very credible evidence that Nate and the rest have been able to sleuth out in the past 36 hours or so, I’ve blacklisted Absolute Poker and removed all Absolute Poker banners from my site. There comes a time when doing the right thing is more important than making money. I hope many more operators/affiliates will follow suit, hit Absolute where it hurts the most and force this issue to a resolution!
for even better info go to http://www.point-spreads.com click on poker link…more about the asshole named AJ
Potripper scandal represents only the tip of the iceberg, I’ve played there for a few years and I suspect all the games are rigged and AP is collecting all important prizes from all tourneys with significant buy-ins using the Potripper method. So Potripper is the rule not the exception that proves the rule, they were stealing players money for years as they probably still doing it right now …
Im removing al Absolute Poker bonus, and banners from my site now. Thanks for the info guys!
Thanks, you cheating sites…I’ve suspected all of the above for years too…I have still come out ahead because as a fool I kept banging my head against the wall because it felt so good. I continued to to the same thing expecting a different out come…I read all the books, studied everything imaginable about playing poker, ut to and including the back of a match book. Slowly I developed a system that beats cheating even. In Fact the joke is now on them because they think I dont know they are cheating so they make bad plays against the strength. If we all just put our cards face up nobody would ever win…it’s the fact that they think I don’t know that gives me the advantage. Why did I say “thank you” to the cheating sites…because now I tear up the live games after having developed this system. I affectionately call it the “Safe Cracker” Yes I’m very bitter about online site impropriety, but I still play online (I shouldn’t) knowing that I can prevail even against cheating. If only it were legit!
SIncerely Caragh M.
Is absolutPoker still cheating ? Thanks for post – very important information
Spiel,
Im not totally sure on the situation. They paid back everyone involved, but Im not sure if Tom Scott is still the CEO or what… I would advise against playing there…
