Update from the HOSPITAL!!! Yikes….

by justin on October 16, 2008

So I’m in the hospital right now (been here for 6 days!)

It’s been a boring experience to say the least, but I’m getting a lot of work done right now. It’s making me realize how much I miss social situations and being around people.

Anyways they believe I have deep folliculitis… basically a bacteria infection of the hair follicles. Mine got horribly infected and I had to have 2 surgeries on it already. I’m on a bunch of meds right now, and there’s a slight (very slight) chane I may get to go home tomorrow.

Here’s some cool pics Lyndsey took of me…

CAUTION: NO SHOWER for 7 days!!!

So I’ve been rockin stuff for Gym Junkies ( have I mentioned the URL yet?) for the past week. In the past week we’ve

  • Filmed an incredibly useful autoresponder series
  • added new articles, pictures and videos
  • hired someone to do some minor redesign tweaks…

Basically we’re still getting everything ready for the BETA launch… I have so many absolutely sweet ideas for the site it’s crazy….. I already know for certain on of our resources will be THE BEST resource on the net for exercise information. It’s that fucking good!

It’s just been a really good feeling to finally see all of the hard work and our vision start to come together. It’s been a long time working on this….

What’s up with JustinGoff.com?

So I put up the new theme, its the Thesis theme from Chris Pearson. I’m going to have Lyndsey shoot some really cool photos of me to put in the rotating photo box. I’ll also be adding my Twitter account to the sidebar (not up yet, its coming).

This site is going to be all about Fitness Marketing soon. There’s just SO much opportunity for me in that space to share all of my online marketing knowledge that I’d be stupid to not help other people out…

It was funny, when I was at the Ryan Lee bootcamp (fitness conference), I was the youngest guy there and I was easily in the top 1% of them when it came to Internet marketing knowledge. One dude even called me a boy genius (kinda cool, huh?).

To look back and think that just 2-3 years ago I had no clue what I wanted to do with my life and now I’m working on building this great business and brand, it’s really stunning to me, but incredibly rewarding and fun.

That’s all for this update, hopefully I can shoot some pics next week and then get this site into the shape I want.

Go bananas

-Justin
