A few weeks ago, my buddy David Gonzalez invited me to a little roundtable discussion about high-ticket offers.

At the discussion was me, Jordan Hall, Adam Lyons, Eric Louviere, Jon Morrow and Jesse Elder.

These are all guys who are making a ton of money with high-ticket offers.

So the point of the event was for us to give some “offer ideas” to a woman named Krisstina Wise.

I had never heard of Krisstina before this…

But she has a course on building wealth for like $6k.

Which she said was already selling well.

However…

It was basically all being done by her.

She was the one on the phone selling it.

And she was the one who was fulfilling everything.

So David wanted us to help her find a better way to do that.

So here’s what happened…

Initially David wanted all of us to get up in front of the whiteboard and tell Krisstina what kind of offer/funnel we would build if we were in her shoes.

Basically here’s what Justin would do…

Or here’s what Jon Morrow would do…

She’d obviously get a ton of good ideas from this…

But there was one big flaw with it.

And it was this…

An offer that might be a good fit for me, might be a terrible fit for her.

Just because something works and makes money, doesn’t mean it’s a good fit for what you ultimately want.

So before we started the discussion, I chimed in…

Krisstina why don’t you tell us a little more about the things you want to do and things you don’t want to do in this business

She thought about it for a bit…

And then started rattling off some ideas…

“I don’t want to do all the phone selling”

“I want to speak and teach mostly”

“I want to take home at least $100k a month”

Once she got rolling, it became a lot more clear what she was looking for.

She wanted to be the face of the product.

…Create the content.

And teach her wealth building strategies.

But she didn’t want to be bogged down with all the other parts of the business.

Like being on the phone selling all day.

This whole process took about 8 minutes to flesh out.

But it was the most important part of the process.

Why?

Because one of the worst things you can do is to build a business that WORKS but it’s not the business you want.

That’s a bad spot to be in.

Cause if the business is making good money…

And employing people…

It’s really hard to shut that down and do something else.

Even if you’re unhappy.

It’s why I made such a point out of helping Krisstina get clear on what SHE wanted.

Not what I wanted…

Or what any of us helping her wanted.

We had to know what SHE wanted…

And then we could start coming up with the best kind of offers to fit that.

This is one of those things that sounds so basic…

But most people never really give it much thought.

Your business has to reflect what you want.

What you want in terms of…

Money…

Personal Fulfillment…

Lifestyle…

All of that has to be factored in.

So if you’re not thinking like this now…

I highly suggest you give it a shot.

Your life will be a whole lot better if you do…

Keep that in mind.
