Holy shit dude, Jay’s upsell format is crushing for us

This is a text I got from my buddy Dave Sinick back in April.

It was about 2 months after our Vegas mastermind…

And Dave and his copywriter had just implemented the upsell strategy that Jay Deiboldt shared at our mastermind.

Before creating the upsell, I know Dave was nervous about using it.

Cause the copy is pretty long…

And it’s very different from most upsells you’re used to seeing.

But when the split test results came in…

Dave was jumping for joy.

Why? 

Cause when all was said and done…

They added nearly $5 to the AOV of their free + shipping offer.

Which is huge!

If you’re not familiar with the metrics on free + shipping offers, a $5 boost is insane.

That’s like a $200 offer adding $51 to their AOV.

So a $5 boost was a game changer for them.

And instead of putzin around at 30 or 50 buyers a day…

They’re now scaling this offer to over 1000+ buyers a day. 

And all it took was getting that first upsell right.

Now I want to take a second and point this out.

Because in my experience…

Upsells are the #1 spot where even smart marketers leave a ton of money on the table.

Especially the FIRST upsell (like you saw in Dave’s example above)

However…

If you can get your first upsell right…

And add $5 to a F+S offer…

Or add $20-$40 to a regular offer…

Your odds of getting to 1000 buyers a day, just went wayyyyy up.

Now there’s a few proven ways to do this.

I’ve discussed these in numerous trainings I’ve done.

But what Jay Deiboldt shared at our Copy Accelerator event truly opened my eyes.

He showed me upsell tactics that I had never even thought of before.

Which is funny,  cause I’m kinda known as an upsell wizard.

A  guy on my list even once called me “the Warren Buffet of Funnels”.

So I truly understand upsells.

But the tactics that Jay shared at our event, were on a whole ‘nother level.

And judging by the results Jay gets…

And Dave got using these tactics…

They flat out work.

Now I’d love to be able to share Jay’s upsell secrets with everyone…
