Here’s a few random things about business, success and life that are on my mind this morning…

1.  I hung out with my buddy Joe last night (who is a dating coach) and we got on the topic of what makes his best students so successful when it comes to dating.

Part of me was hoping Joe would give me some juicy answer…

The one “weird trick” I’d never heard of…

But he didn’t.

Instead, he gave me what actually works…

“All of my most successful students are the ones who master the basics” he said.

This is probably the least sexy answer ever.

But I get it.

It’s what actually matters.

Same thing happens in your business…

Or with writing copy..

There’s really only 3-4 things that matter.

And if you can master those, you’re good to go.

2.  Stefan and I are making plans for our next Copy Accelerator event right now.

We’re shooting for a date in mid-October.

This event will be for all our Copy Accelerator members…

And the new Copy Accelerator LITE members…

We’ll also probably sell a few “sit in” seats as well.

The toughest part about this event is obviously the pandemic going on.

We’re trying to find a city that is not seeing an uptick with the virus.

We have about 4 options right now…

We’re scoping each one out…

And doing a boatload of research.

But we’ll be making a final decision in the next few weeks on the location.

Once we do, we’ll open up registration for the event.

So keep your eyes peeled for that.

3.  My email from yesterday about Grant Cardone’s 95-hour work week seems to have really struck a chord.

Which is good.

I’m a huge advocate that the “hustle culture” of working all day, everyday is not sustainable.

Yes, it CAN make you successful.

But I can tell you from personal experience that if you make a lot of money, and you’re not happy, then it’s all for nothing.

And that’s what that lifestyle does.

It makes your business the ONLY thing in your life.

No time for family…

No time for friends…

No time for yourself…

I’ve run that road before (many times)…

And it’s a quick ticket to being burnt out.

You lose all your motivation…

And you’re just not happy…

So it’s best to avoid falling into that trap.

I’m glad my email yesterday connected with so many people.

It’s good to see people waking up to this.

Alright…

I’m not really sure how to wrap this baby up.

But that’s all I got for ya today.

Get out, get some sun.

And enjoy your Sunday.
