Every Sunday morning I like to write about 3 random things that are on my mind.
Sometimes these things are about business…
Sometimes they’re about life…
And other times they’re just completely random.
So with that said…
Let’s jump into the first thing on my mind this morning…
1. Your business needs it’s “one thing”
I’m a big fan of having ONE main platform that you build your business around.
For me that’s my email list.
Every morning I write this email to you…
And it’s the most important thing I do for my business.
Why?
Because it’s the “hub” that fuels all my sales.
It’s how I put people into our live events, our mastermind and more.
I’m very clear that email is my “hub”.
Sure I post on Instagram, Youtube and Facebook…
But none of those get the attention that my email list does.
You can’t be great at everything…
So focus on building your ONE hub.
2. I have a love/hate relationship with traveling
Most people love traveling…
I however have a love/hate relationship with it.
I like to get away…
And to see new places.
But I also LOVE being at home and in my routine.
I like being in my bed…
I like cooking on my grill…
I like writing from my kitchen table.
All this changes when I travel.
And I miss it.
I have no idea if others feel this way.
But it’s true for me.
Maybe I’m just a homebody.
Not sure, but I like being in my routine.
Alright, let’s do one more of these this morning.
3. Who do you have in your corner rooting for you?
I’m convinced that every entrepreneur needs someone in their corner rooting for them.
For example…
My coach, Brent, is always helping me see things in a better light.
He talks me off the ledge when I’m struggling with something.
He reminds me that I’m really good at what I do…
So if I’m feeling down, or questioning myself, a talk with him makes me feel a lot better.
Another example…
My buddy Andrew has this same kind of relationship with his wife.
She’s his biggest supporter.
Whenever he starts to doubt himself, she’s there with encouragement.
She makes him feel like a king.
Like he can conquer the world.
I’ve always admired this about their relationship.
And to me, you can’t put a price on this.
You need someone in your corner.
You need someone who has your back when you feel lost.
Someone that believes in you when you have doubts.
I think it’s worth it’s weight in gold.
Cause truth is you’re gonna struggle…
You’re gonna doubt yourself…
And you need someone who can help pick you back up in that situation.
I’m not really sure how to wrap this up…
But I gotta head out.
