Every Sunday I like to write about 3 random things that are on my mind.

Sometimes these are things about business…

Sometimes they’re about life…

And other times they’re just truly random.

So with that said…

Let’s jump into the first thing on my mind this morning.

1.  Even if you’re successful, you’re still going to go through ups and downs

People are always surprised when I share something I’m strruggling with…

Or if I’m feeling down…

Or lonely…

Which is strange.

These are normal things that everyone feels.

But there’s this idea that if you’re successful, your life is nothing but peaches.

And that you don’t deal with that kind of stuff.

Which is simply not true.

Your life definitely does get better when you’re successful…

But it doesn’t eliminate the normal ups and downs that every human goes through.

No matter how much money you have…

Or how successful your biz is…

You are going to go through periods of struggle.

You’re gonna feel unmotivated, lonely, sad, frustrated and everything else under the sun.

That’s just part of being a human.

Alright, let’s hop to the second thing on my mind…

2.  You can still be wildly successful and have  balance in your life

My email from yesterday about taking time off and not going 100% everyday sparked a bunch of replies.

Mostly along the lines of “but dont you have to work really hard to get where you are, and then you can relax a little?”

That’s a fair question.

And I can tell you from experience that you’re better off having some balance in your life from the get-go.

Why?

That way you don’t get used to the 14 hour days.

That way working all-day, everyday doesn’t become a habit.

Cause once it becomes a habit…

It’s hard to break out of.

You’ll feel the need to keep doing it (just to keep up).

And sooner or later you’ll hit a wall.

I did it myself.

And I’ve seen many others do it…

So to reiterate what I said yesterday, you need breaks…

And you need balance…

So make sure you’re doing that.

Alright let’s do one more of these, then I gotta head out…

3.  I’ll be at Traffic & Conversion for a few days, feel free to come say hello if you’re here

I’m in San Diego right now for T&C…

I’ll be speaking at the Mimosa mastermind today with my biz partner, Stefan…

And then I’ll be at the Internet Marketing Party later tonight.

Not sure what my plans are for the rest of the week…

I have a few meetings planned…

But I’ll probably pop in and out of the event for the  next few days.

So if you see me, feel free to say hello.

I always like chatting with people who read my emails.

Alright that’s enough for today…

Gotta go get ready for the Mimosa mastermind.

Enjoy your Sunday,
