After I sent out my email this morning about the dog rescue I’m helping, superstar copywriter Craig Clemens shot me an email that caught my attention…

Great letter. You missed something big though…

I wasn’t sure what he was talking about.

So I went back and read the email I sent.

Everything looked good from my end.

“What did I miss?” I wondered.

So I shot am an email back…

Ha. What’s that?

I thought maybe he meant I missed something in the fundraising letter I was writing…

Like there was some secret sauce that I didn’t know about.

But turns out, it was something else…

Something that didn’t even cross my mind.

After that story about Rylee, I AM READY TO DONATE! You forgot to close your list/give a link!

“P.S. You can tell this means a lot to me… if you’ve enjoyed this free newsletter and want to pay it forward by supporting the Haven, that would be super cool. You can do so here”… something like that.

I bet you would raise like 10-20k with all the ballers on your list. Consider sending ’em the P.S. now in a separate email and tell ’em I made you do it because you are too nice to ask them to help the but you really should 😉 (and everyone wants to help because you give so much value and dogs are awesome)

Pretty much everything Craig said there is spot-on.

So at Craig’s urging, I’m sending you the link if you’d like to donate to this dog rescue that’s near and dear to my heart.

If you enjoy reading my emails each day…

And they provide value to you…

And you’d like to repay me for that…

The best thing you could do is make a donation to Harlequin Haven for me.

They’re the rescue I’m writing a direct mail piece for.

And due to some larger-than-usual vet bills that came in this year, they’re really struggling right now.

Which breaks my heart.

Cause if they have to start turning dogs away because of a lack of funds…

Dogs like Rylee (who you see on the right, she’s the big one) could be left out on the streets.

Or she’ll wind up being sent to another shelter where she’d most likely get euthanized after a few weeks.

That’s the reality.

So if you want to do something nice to help these vulnerable dogs like Riley…

I would truly appreciate you sending a donation to Harlequin Haven.

There’s no pressure to donate…

Honestly, none at all.

However if you’re like Craig and looking for a way to say “thanks” for all the emails and videos I put out for free, then a donation to Harlequin Haven would make my day.

Dale over at the rescue will be quite surprised too because she’s been praying for a miracle.

So this would just tickle her to no end.

If you want to donate, you can do that here

You’ll see a yellow “Donate” button at the top of the page.

Just click that and you can donate through Paypal (or with a CC).

I’m not really sure how to wrap this up…

But I just want to say thanks for being a reader.

And if you choose to donate some money to Harlequin Haven you will not only be helping to save some vulnerable dogs like Rylee, but you will have made my day.
