“I don’t belong in this room“
That’s what copywriter Michael Rochin said on the first day of our event back in February.
He felt his hands clam up…
And started to sweat.
“This was a mistake” he thought to himself.
Unlike a lot of the people in the room, Michael wasn’t a “big name”.
In fact he had only been writing copy for like 8 months.
So he felt like he didn’t deserve to be in the room with big hitters like VShred, Natural Health Sherpa, Agora, 4Patriots and more…
So what did Michael do?
Well believe it or not, he actually tried to sneak out of the room and leave the event!
Honest to god.
Luckily my partner Stefan found him out in the hall, gave him a little pep talk, and brought him back in.
Which was a pivotal moment for Michael.
Why?
Cause his life hasn’t been the same since…
In a matter of months he went from getting fired by his customer service job (and not even being able to afford Christmas presents for his 2 year-old daughter)…
To now-a-days making $10k-$12k a month as a copywriter.
Talk about a turn around!
His story in incredibly inspiring…
And one that I’m glad to have played a small part in.
But the reason I’m telling you his story is because what Michael felt at the event is not uncommon.
You might feel a lot of anxiety when you surround yourself with people doing better than you.
And that’s OK.
It’s part of growing.
