One of the gems that Alen Sultanic (a brilliant marketer) dropped at our last event was that the easiest way to boost conversions is to change the “format” of your VSL or sales letter.

For example…

Back in 2007 or so, my buddy Mike Geary completely changed the game when him and Jon Benson created the first video sales letter.

Up until then, everyone just used text sales letters.

But when they launched the first VSL, it absolutely crushed.

I’m talking like 3x the sales they were doing before.

So by simply changing the “format” of how they were selling, they had a huge increase in sales.

There were no changes to the copy…

They just simply changed the format from text to video.

And this strategy of “format change” has been going on forever…

In the early 90’s people realized that if you made your direct mail look like a magazine (called a magalog) that you made way more sales than a traditional sales letter.

So everyone moved away from 16-page sales letters…

And started sending out magalogs…

So again…

Simply changing the format gave a huge boost in sales.

Now the reason I’m sharing this principle with you is because it ties in really well with what I told you yesterday.

And that’s the simple “Google Doc salesletter” that my buddy Ian Stanley has been using.

I call it the “anti salesletter”.

Cause it’s only a few pages long…

And sometimes there’s not even a headline on it.

It’s just a plain ole’ Google Doc…

But here’s the thing…

These Google Docs are crushing for Ian.

Seriously.

We talked this past weekend and he showed me 7 different offers he’s used these on.

Everything from low ticket ($49)…

To high ticket ($10,000+)

And they’re also working in a variety of niches as well (it’s not just in the “make money” niche).

So it’s been proven to work…

And if you’re interested in learning how to create one of these Google docs that are raking in a bunch of sales…

You should join Ian and I this Thursday for a private Zoom call we’re hosting on the topic.

Part of the reason I’m doing this call is that I selfishly want to learn this from Ian…

Cause I’m planning on using one of these Google Doc salesletters for an offer I’m putting out in June.

So I’ll be soaking up everything he’s teaching.

Anyways…

The call will be at 2 PM ET/11 AM PT this Thursday.

And it’s on Zoom.

I have no idea if Ian will do a replay, so I suggest you register and show up for the call if you can swing it.

So if you want a spot, go save your seat right here.

Hope to see ya on the call.

– Justin

Note: Last time I did a call like this with Ian, we maxed out his Zoom account and not everyone could get in.

So if you want to make sure you get in this time, reserve your spot now while you still can.

You can do that here.
