Yesterday we had over 260 entrepreneurs, copywriters and media buyers at the first day of our Copy Accelerator mastermind…

On-stage speaking we had myself, Stefan Georgi and Steve Gunn (who has an offer doing over 1000 sales a day in the CBD space).

One thing that stood out to me from yesterday was the idea that “great offers are shaped, they’re not winners out of the gate”.

This is something I experienced myself when I launched Patriot Power Greens back in the day…

Steve Gunn mentioned the same thing happened with his CBD offer.

So this is normal…

Too many people expect their offer to be a winner right out of the gate.

And if it’s not a winner, they move on from it.

This is a big mistake.

I can tell ya from experience that most of the biggest,  legendary offers are not winners right out of the gate.

Usually you need to get the lead dialed-in…

Or the ads need a different angle…

Or your upsells need tweaked…

It is very rare that you put an offer out and the first test is a homerun.

And that’s an insanely valuable lesson…

Because if you create an offer and spend $1000 on ads, and it brings back $600 in revenue, you might be inclined to think it doesn’t work…

You might think about moving on to a different offer.

Well I can tell ya, that would be a big mistake.

Cause you’re closer to having a winner than you think.

And just a few tweaks would have that offer breaking even on cold traffic. 

Point being…

Don’t expect to have a winner right out of the gate.

And don’t walk away from an offer that is showing potential (but needs a little love).

The best offers are shaped over time, they’re not winners out of the gate.

Keep that in mind…
