Something I’ve been preaching a lot in my emails lately is that most entrepreneurs need to take more time off work.

And here’s what I mean by that…

Up until 2019 I had never taken a true non-working vacation in my life.

Seriously.

If I traveled somewhere, I always wound up working while I was there.

In the mornings I would answer emails, check stats, and still do the normal stuff I would do in a work day.

I may have been in Mykonos, or Stockholm, but I was still very much “at work”.

For the longest time, I didn’t see a problem with this.

But over the last year or so, I’ve started taking actual time away from work.

Sometimes it’s just for 3 days…

Other times it’s for a whole week.

No matter which one I choose, I’ve seen the benefits of it.

And I believe taking time off has been a game-changer for me.

In fact, I even scheduled 3 vacations for this year because of it (I just got back from the first vacation in Cabo).

Anyways, point being…

If you’re in this for the long run…

And you don’t want to be a flash-in-the-pan who winds up burnt-out and unmotivated…

Then you need to take time off.

You can’t constantly work 10 hours a day, 6 days a week and keep that up forever.

It’s just not possible.

Sooner or later you’re gonna hit a wall.

And it’s all gonna fall apart.

So my suggestion is to take more breaks throughout the year…

If you’re nervous about taking more time off, then start small (like 2-3 days).

Then work your way up to 5 or 7 days.

Whatever you do, just let your mind have a break from work.

I promise you’ll come back more motivated and more creative than ever before.

That’s my 2 cents…
