“I was walking two hours to work everyday just to pack drywall tape in a box”
This used to be Issak Hyde’s life.
Before he got into copywriting…
And before he was making $5k a month writing from his bedroom…
His normal day was getting up early, trudging 2 hours to work, and then working 8 more hours doing mind-numbing factory until his shift ended.
Issak told me that he dreaded getting up each morning.
Not only cause he hated his job…
But mostly because he had to walk two hours to get there.
So he was walking even when it was freezing outside…
Or when it was raining…
I mean, walking for two hours is bad enough…
But when you have to walk to a job you hate, that makes it even worse.
So Issak knew he needed to do something different.
He wanted OUT.
He wanted more control over his life.
And wanted to make way more money than he was at the factory.
Luckily for Issak, he stumbled upon copywriting when he was watching some Youtube videos.
However it wasn’t all roses and sunshine once he got into copywriting.
There was a ton of information to learn…
So he felt confused…
And he was constantly emailing potential clients but not hearing anything back.
So he thought about giving up (numerous times).
But luckily for Issak he stuck with it…
And eventually had a big breakthrough.
Which he’s now reaping the rewards of.
Today Issak is regularly having $5,000 months as a copywriter (he even had an $11,000 month at the end of 2021).
He no longer has to walk two hours to work…
He’s actually doing something he enjoys now…
He’s able to set his own schedule…
And make way more money than he ever did before.
Anyways…
Just wanted to share this and give a big congrats to Issak.
I sat down with him recently to interview him all about his journey, his struggles and what he wishes he knew when he started copywriting.
