Back in 2021 my buddy Rob was diagnosed with cancer and given less than a year to live…

At the time he was only 38 years old…

So it was quite a shock when he got the diagnosis.

He didn’t look sick…

And he seemed like the same old “Rob”…

But the doctors were adament that he didn’t have much time left…

I wasn’t sure how he was gonna handle the diagnosis…

But when I asked Rob about it…

He had come to peace with the diagnosis…

And said “I just want to enjoy the time I have left”.

His big thing was that he didn’t want to spend his last few months frantically searching for miracle cures like most people with cancer do.

He just wanted to enjoy life.

And his big “bucket list” item that he wanted to do was to take his wife, Etu, on a long trip that she’d never forget.

That trip included…

Going to Disneyland…

Driving down the California coast and watching the sunset each night…

Then flying to Hawaii and spending a few weeks just laying on the beach and enjoying each other’s company.

It was a great plan.

And one that his wife was all giddy about…

However…

Rob wasn’t exactly rolling in the dough at the time.

So he had no way to pay for it.

So after he told me all about the trip…

Me and a few friends got together and decided that we were going to pay for the trip for him.

Everything would be covered…

Flights, hotels, food, cars…you name it.

Plus on top of that we were gonna cover his rent and his medical expenses while they were traveling…

So it was a lot of dough we needed to raise…

And we needed to do it quickly…

Luckily for me though…

I have an email list.

So instead of digging into my savings…

Or selling some of my investments…

I simply sent a couple emails to my list promoting Ian Stanley’s Google Docs course…

I think I sent 6 emails in total that week…

And as a result of those 6 emails…

I pulled in $11,300.

Every penny of that $11,300 went directly to Rob…

And that money (along with the money my friends chipped in) helped him and Etu to have the trip of a lifetime together.

They spent multiple weeks in Hawaii…

They pranced around Disneyland…

They surfed in Mexico…

It truly was a bucket-list trip…

And looking back now…

I’m glad we did it.

Cause just a few months after the trip…

Rob’s health took a turn for the worse.

He was losing weight rapidly…

And went into the ICU…

He fought hard til the end, but eventually he passed away on his 40th birthday surrounded by thirty of his closest friends.

It was tough to watch…

And I still think about him all the time…

However…

I do take some solace whenever his wife talks about that trip…

Or she posts pictures of it on Instagram…

I feel a lot of pride that I was able to play a small part in helping make that happen.

It was cool to see him enjoying his last days on earth…

And getting to spend them with the person he cared about the most.

Anyways…

Before I get all emotional…

The reason I shared this story with you…

Is because it’s a good example of how an email list can help not just you…but it can also help those around you as well…

That might be your family…

It could be your friends…

Or maybe it’s a charity you’re passionate about…

Having a profitable email list makes life better for you and everyone around you…

And as cool is it is to have a nice house…

Or a boat…

It’s even cooler to be able to help someone that really matters to you.

And my email list has allowed me to do that numerous times…

So I’m a big fan of having an email list…

I don’t deny that.

My list has allowed me to live a pretty good life.

And if having your own profitable list appeals to you…

I suggest you keep your eyes peeled for an email from me tomorrow morning.

I have something special for ya that could help you to build your own very profitable email list (even if you don’t have an offer and even if you’re not well known)…

More info to come tomorrow…
