A few years ago, almost all the big players in direct response started making a boatload of money using something I call “list splintering”.
Basically the idea is this…
You have your main email list…
And you mail offers or content to that list each day…
And let’s say that list makes you 10 grand at the end of the month.
Not too shabby…
But what if you took everyone on that list, and you put them on a second list that you own…
And you mailed that second list each day as well…
So for example…
You have a list in the golf niche and your people are getting emails each day from superstar instructor Butch Harmon (Tiger Woods’ former coach)…
But now you take that person…
And you put them on another list where they’re getting emails each day from Hank Haney (another well known instructor)…
Now that person on your list has TWO chances to buy from you (instead of just one).
So guess what happens?
They buy a lot more stuff.
I mean, a lot more.
From what I’ve seen list splintering can add another 50-100% on top of what you normally make.
So if you usually make $10k a month from your email list…
Now you can make an additional $5k or $10k each month with the second list.
Pretty cool huh?
But here’s where it gets really interesting…
And this will really appeal to you if you don’t currently have your own list (but you’d like to have one)…
Most of the people that do “list splintering” don’t usually manage the second list themselves.
They hire someone else to do it.
And therein lies your opportunity.
Why?
Because you can be the person that runs the second list and you can split the profits 50/50 with the original list owner!
So instead of spending months building your own list…
You can jump right in and acquire a list of 10,000…
50,000….
Or even 100,000 people…
I mean it’s literally the fastest way I know of to acquire a profitable list.
Now before you go running off trying to implement this, I will warn you…
You need to have your “terms of service” buttoned up in order to do this properly.
And you also need to put a few key pieces of copy in the emails on the second list so you don’t get a bunch of spam complaints.
If you get these two things wrong, it will blow up in your face in spectacular fashion.
But if you get em right…
This can be a super quick way to start pocketing $5k, $15k or even $30k a month.
