There’s a lot of power in being seen as an advocate instead of a salesman.

For example…

One of the things Stefan and I do with our Copy Accelerator program is that we actually turn people away who are not a good fit for the program.

Which is unusual in the mastermind world.

Most groups will take anyone who has the money.

But we don’t.

Why?

Because in most of these situations, turning them away is the right thing for THAT person.

Maybe they’re not at the right skill level to be in the group…

Or maybe their finances are tight, so ponying up $2950 a month to be in the group is cutting it closer than we’re comfortable with.

So instead of letting them join…

We’ll tell them that they’re not the right fit.

And guess what?

People respect us for that.

They see that we have REAL standards for the people we let in the program.

And that we actually care about their results.

So they trust us.

And this trust also works in our favor when someone IS a good fit for the program.

Cause there’s always a few people who Stefan and I KNOW are a perfect fit for the group.

And we know that if they simply sign-up…

Their business is gonna explode.

We’ve seen it happen with Randall Pruitt who went from making $15k a month to $50k a month as a copywriter.

We saw it with Jeremy Reeves who just launched his first offer and did over $300k in sales in the first month.

We saw it with Tom Merritt who was already  making sales when he joined, but who has grown his offer to a few hundred sales per day.

These are the kinds of people that we push to join.

Because we know that we can help them.

In fact, it actually upsets me if people like this don’t join the group.

Cause I know how much of a gamechanger it would be for them.

That’s how much I believe in the program.

But this all comes back to why being seen as an advocate is so important.

People want to know that you have their best interest at heart.

And that you’re not just after their money.

That’s what an advocate does.

And when your readers view you as an advocate, you have a level of trust with them that they can’t get anywhere else.

Point being…

Be an advocate.

Not a salesman.

That’s all I got for ya today…
