Something I’ve become more aware of lately is the that there are certain days I just don’t have “it”.

For example…

I flew home from our event in Tampa late Friday night.

That night I was in bed by 9…

And I slept like a hibernating bear.

My body was spent.

And that continued most of the weekend.

On Saturday, I basically laid on my couch all day and was as lazy as could be.

Later in the day I hit the sauna…

And did a few cold plunges as well…

But other than that, I did nothing.

After having two full days of rest, I thought I’d be ready to go this morning.

But that hasn’t been the case.

I still feel wiped out.

Which isn’t that surprising…

Events are always rough on me.

I’m naturally very introverted, so talking and mingling with people for 5 days straight is a lot for me energy-wise.

Plus, I’m always in hyper-awareness mode at an event making sure everything is going right.

So it takes it’s toll on me.

Which is how I’m feeling today.

I was planning on being up at 7, and knocking this email out.

But I’m struggling.

I don’t really feel like doing much of anything.

So what am I gonna do about it?

I’m gonna give myself permission to do nothing.

I’m not gonna feel guilty about it.

And if I do anything today, that’s a win.

Point being…

You can’t be “on” every day.

Some days are better than others.

Tom Brady has good games and mediocre games, just like entrepreneurs have good days and “blah” days.

It’s just part of it.

So if you’re ever having a “blah” day…

Feel free to give yourself permission to do nothing.

Don’t force it.

And don’t beat yourself up for not making it happen.

Sometimes you just need to pull back a bit (like I am today).

That’s all I got for ya today…

Hope this was helpful,

– Justin

Note: If you like the insights I share in my emails, you may be interested in working with me in my mentoring program.

You’ll get to learn from me, Stefan Georgi and a group of A-list copywriters every single day.

We’ve already helped copywriters like Amber Peoples, Tanner Henkel, Mario Castelli, Scott Connorton, Michael Rochin, Scott Mills, Krista Edsall and more to scale to multiple 6-figures a year.

We’ve also helped offer owners like Troy Ericson, Steve Gunn, VShred, Scott Phillips, Conor Boyland and more to scale their offers to hundreds (and even thousands) of sales a day.

If you want to see what all the hooplah is about, I suggest giving this a read and seeing if it’s for you…
