Most people would consider me a pretty good entrepreneur.

I’ve built 4 multi-million dollar companies in my career…

One of those companies even hit $23 million in sales in a single year…

So I’ve racked up a lot of wins…

Yet despite all of that…

I’m still not dumb enough to think that I know everything.

I know there’s a LOT I can learn from other people.

I’ll give you an example…

Back in January of 2020, Stefan Georgi and I plopped down $30,000 and flew to San Francisco to meet with a fiesty, 5’2 Filipino woman named Jen Kem.

Why did we give her $30k?

Cause Jen’s an expert at running live events.

Specifically she’s an expert at running live events that help you enroll more people into masterminds and coaching programs. 

So we wanted to learn from her.

What’s funny is that when we hired Jen, Stefan and I thought the only thing we really needed help with was our “pitch” at the event.

We thought if we could get the pitch dialed in, we could easily enroll more people into Copy Accelerator.

Looking back now, it’s laughable how naive we were…

Cause after Jen walked us through her process for running a live event, I realized very quickly that the pitch was like 10% of what mattered.

It was almost an after thought for her…

What really mattered was the pre-selling, the energy in the room, the speaking line-up, and the personal touch points leading up to the pitch.

So that’s what we focused on…

And when we implemented all of her suggestions at our Vegas event a few weeks later, the results spoke for themselves.

We were able to enroll 38 new people in Copy Accelerator at a $35k price point.

Which was a big increase from the 24 people we enrolled at the first event…

And it was an extra $490k for us…

So not only did Jen’s advice help us enroll more people…

But the Vegas event also ran much smoother than our first one…

A few people even remarked to me that it was the “best event” they had ever been to in terms of the content. 

So the $30k we paid to Jen was well worth it…

And it had a huge ROI for us.

Which is why I’m such a big believer in paying people who are the BEST at what they do for 1-on-1 advice.

I did this with Jen…

Just like I did it with David Deutsch…

And just like I did it with my mindset coach, Brent Charleton…

I actively search out people who are the best so I can get 1-on-1 advice from them.

Why?

Because it gets you the best results.

When you get personal 1-on-1 feedback on your specific situation, you know exactly what you need to do.

There’s no guessing…

And no trial and error…

Obviously not everyone can afford to do this in their business…
