After every launch I do I like to share the big lessons I learned from the launch with you.

Why?

So that way you can take what I learned, implement it yourself, and use it to make some dough.

Sound good?

Alright let’s get into it…

The launch I just wrapped up yesterday was for a training I did with Jordan Hall on “how to dig up the hidden profits in an email list”.

I sold the training for $197.

Overall I did 223 sales of the training.

So I’ll make around $41k after all the payments come in.

Which I’m happy with.

I consider that a solid “double” in baseball terms.

Plus, I was just happy to get Jordan’s knowledge out to the people on my list.

Why?

Cause it’s truly original stuff he teaches…

And I’ve already had 6 different people email me saying they either landed a new client from what Jordan taught…

Or that they have new email campaigns ready to roll on Monday that they think will bring in a bunch of dough.

So that’s cool to see.

Now, in terms of the lessons I learned from the launch…

The biggest one was this…

Your list might have a lot of interest in a specific topic, but if you try to sell it through the wrong “vehicle”, you won’t make much money.

Allow me to explain…

At the beginning of September, Jordan and I did a webinar that shared some of his “hidden money” ideas.

That webinar was more of a 10,000 foot view of how Jordan looks at money and deal making…

And at the end of the webinar, Jordan pitched his $15k a year mastermind.

Based on the interest in the webinar, I was thinking like 20+ people would sign up for his mastermind.

But only about 6 people did.

Which was perplexing to me…

I figured it’d be more…

But I know from past experience selling other people’s masterminds is NOT an easy sell…

It’s a big purchase…

And most of my list doesn’t have a deep relationship with Jordan like they do with me…

So it can be a tough sell…

But here’s the thing…

Based on the responses I got to the webinar we did, I knew there was a LOT of interest in the “hidden email profits” topic that he teaches.

I was getting a lot of emails about it…

And people wanted to know more…

So I told Jordan…

“What if we just do a paid training teaching a simplified version of what you teach in your mastermind?”

He was game, so we set it up.

My thought was…

“We’ll make money on the paid training, and then if people like what you teach on the training, and they want to work with you further, they can join your mastermind”

So that’s what we did…

And guess what?

It worked great.

We made $41k off the paid training…

And last I looked, a few people already signed up for Jordan’s mastermind who were on the training (and I’m sure more will sign-up once they watch the replay).

So the the big lesson I had with this launch was that the “vehicle” you’re using to sell your offer matters.

A mastermind will sell differently than a live Zoom training…

A live event will sell differently than a 6-week online course…

So if you have a topic that you know people really want to learn…

But it’s not selling as well as you’d like…

Then it just might be the “vehicle” you’re selling it through.

That was a big lesson for me…

So hopefully this was helpful for you as well…

I’ll be back with a second lesson for ya tomorrow morning…

Enjoy your Friday,

– Justin
