After every email promo I do, I like to share the results and the lessons I learned during the promo with you.

Why?

That way you can take what I learned…

And use it in your own marketing…

And make yourself some moolah.

Sound good?

Alright, let’s get into it.

The promo I just wrapped up last night was my Black Friday promo.

If you missed the emails for it, the offer was a bundle that included 6 of my best trainings on email marketing and list building…

I also threw in a big bonus with the bundle which was a free ticket to my $2000 Email Experts event that’s happening in January.

So it was a pretty loaded bundle.

Overall I made 130 sales during the promo…

I don’t have exact numbers on how much this promo will make me since the offer was a payment plan…

But judging by past payment plans I’ve run, this one should make me between $70k-$80k when all is said and done.

So overall, it did well.

And when I compare it to past promos, I believe this was my third best promo of 2023.

So I’m pleased with that.

Now in regards to the lessons I learned during this promo, there were a few of them.

But I’ll start with the most important one…

And that’s the fact that if you want your email promo to do well…

Your offer MUST appeal to the 5% of your list that are your repeat buyers.

This is super important.

And I can’t emphasize it enough.

If you want your email promos to do well…

They have to be appealing to the 5% of your list that are repeat buyers.

And here’s why…

If we look at the data on my Black Friday promo…

Out of the 130 people who bought my bundle…

Guess how many of them purchased stuff from me before?

103 of them!

So 103 out of the 130 sales I made on this promo came from repeat buyers.

That’s 80% of my sales!

This is why it’s so important that your offer appeals to your repeat buyers.

Cause they’re the ones who are most likely to buy.

So if your offer excludes them…

Or it doesn’t appeal to them…

Your sales are gonna suck.

And you’re gonna be sitting around wondering why no one is buying.

So the big takeaway here is simple…

If you want your email promo to do well…

It needs to appeal to your repeat buyers.

Cause that’s who’s gonna buy from you.

And that goes for your own offers…

As well as affiliate offers…

Make sure your offer appeals to the 5% of your list that are repeat buyers.

If you do that…

I guarantee your email promos will make you a lot more dough.

I have a few more lessons from this launch to share with you…

But I’ll leave those for tomorrow.

Hope this was insightful for you…

And I hope you put it to use…

Enjoy your Tuesday,

– Justin
