After every launch, I like to share the biggest lessons I learned during the launch with you.

Why?

That way you can take the lessons, and implement ’em in your own marketing (or your client’s) and make yourself some dough.

Sound good?

Alright, let’s dig in…

The launch I just wrapped up for my “Justin Style Emails” training brought in around $41k (this factors in payment plans and typical churn/refund rates on the payment plans).

Overall I’m super happy with that.

When I originally launched this training in October of 2022, it brought in around $54k.

So the fact that it did 75% of that the second time around is really good (usually if you do 50% of the original, you did well).

So that’s the nuts and bolts of how the launch went.

Now let’s look at the lessons I learned during the launch…

Starting with…

1.  Emails where I shared how much money my personality driven emails made me, did very, very well

I wrote three different emails during this launch that broke down exactly how much money I’ve made with personality driven emails.

The first one was about how I made $5100 an hour promoting Stefan Georgi’s RMBC course…

The second one compared how much I’ve made from email vs. Youtube vs. IG…

And the third one showed how much money I made on each of the last five promos I did to my list.

All three of these emails crushed.

In fact, they brought in more sales than every other email I sent.

Which makes sense…

Cause those emails were loaded with proof.

Think about it…

I could tell ya over and over again that personality-driven emails will make you money…

But when I share real numbers, and show you actual proof of how well they work, that gets you interested.

Adding proof to your emails isn’t a life-shattering revelation by any means…

But it’s a good reminder that a proof-based email will crush when done correctly.

So that’s the first lesson…

Let’s hop to the second lesson…

2.  The last day of a launch is always the best day, so don’t be afraid to send more emails on the last day

Most people wait to the last minute to do anything.

Someone who’s 300 lbs won’t get serious about losing weight until their doctor reads them the riot act…

A crappy husband won’t go to therapy until his wife is on the phone with a divorce lawyer…

During a launch, the same thing happens.

Most people won’t buy until they absolutely have to.

This is why if you’re smart, you’ll really step on the gas with your emails on the final day before the deadline hits.

I usually send 2 emails a day on normal launch days…

And then 4 emails on the final day before the deadline…

This might seem extreme if you’ve never done a launch…

But the proof is in the pudding as they say…

Cause the final day of this launch brought in 36% of the total sales of the launch (and it’s done similar numbers in previous launches).

So the last day is where a LOT of money is made.

Which means it’s not a time to slow down…

Or to back off…

It’s a time to step on the gas…

I have some ideas of how to amplify this even more for future launches (retargeting being the main one)…

But the big takeaway here is simple…

A big chunk of your sales will come in on the last day right before the deadline…

So make sure you push harder than normal during that time.

Simple lesson, but it’ll make you a lot of dough if you follow it.

Alright, I need to wrap this up…

And head out for a walk.

Hope you got a nugget or two from this.

Enjoy your Wednesday…
