Piggybacking on my email from yesterday…

Today I want a share a second lesson with you from my $70k Black Friday promo…

This lesson is extremely important when you promote something at the same time as everyone else in your niche…

And this lesson will sound simple when I say it…

And you might think “I already know that”…

But the number of smart marketers that I saw ignore this rule over Black Friday was mind blowing…

So here’s the lesson…

Make sure your emails DON’T look and sound like everyone else’s in your niche

This rule should obviously apply anytime you do an email promo…

However…

It’s 10x more important when everyone in your niche is promoting something like they are during Black Friday.

Why?

Cause the people on your list (aka the people you’re trying to sell to) have an inbox that looks like this…

“60% off – Black Friday starts today”

“Lowest price ever on this Black Friday deal”

“Brittany, get 50% off my best courses”

So the worst thing you can do is send the exact emails that everyone else is sending.

Cause if you do that…

You’ll just blend in…

And you won’t make many sales.

I can’t even count the number of smart marketers (these are people that I really respect) who screwed this up on Black Friday.

My inbox was flooded with subject lines that were nearly identical to the other 50 emails in my inbox.

And these are all people that knew better than to do this…

But they did it anyway…

Not smart.

Anyways…

The big lesson here is simple…

When everyone else in your niche is promoting something like on Black Friday…

Or during a big launch…

Make sure your subject lines and your emails DON’T sound like everyone else’s.

You want yours to be unique.

And to stand out…

If you do that…

I guarantee your shit will get opened, and you’ll make a lot more sales.

So keep that in mind…
