For the last two days, I shared with you some insights from a launch that made me $31k in just seven days.

The two insights I shared were…

1. Offering a payment plan significantly boosted sales

2. Adding a webinar/Zoom call with a pitch (during the week) also increased sales 

So those were my two big insights…

Today, I want to share with you a few other lessons I had from this launch.

These are more “big picture” lessons.

But they continue to hold true for every launch I do.

So you’d be smart to implement them.

Let’s dig in to the first one…

1.  Certain offers will convert significantly better to your list than other offers – once you realize this, you should try to come up with additional offers that are similar to what’s working

If you look at what’s worked for my list… 

Offers focused on email copy and offers on copywriting in general do the best.

So in the past I’ve done really well promoting Stefan Georgi’s RMBC copy course…

Tanner Henkel & Jerrod Harlan’s email course…

My own email course…

So there’s a pattern here. 

And now that I see this pattern, I’m going to create more courses that fit this mold. 

So I’m already planning a course for 2023 on how to grow your email list…

I have an outline for another course on running email launches…

So I’m doubling down on what’s working.

And creating more courses on those topics.

This is a simple idea…

But it’s one that will make you a lot of dough if you actually follow it.

When you see something that’s working, do more of it!

Alright let’s look at another lesson I had from the launch…

2. Deadlines still work like crazy

Take a look at my day-to-day sales for the promo I did last week for Tanner & Jerrod’s email course…

Day 1 – 8 sales

Day 2 – 8 sales

Day 3 – 8 sales

Day 4 – 9 sales

Day 5 – 8 sales

Day 6 – 9 sales

Day 7 – 48 sales

So overall during the seven day launch I made 97 sales…

However…

Those sales were NOT evenly distributed.

Cause 48 of them came on the last day!

Which is crazy…

But this is something I see over and over again when I launch a new course…

Or when I promote an offer.

You will make a LOT more sales if you have a deadline.

Why?

Cause most people’s tendency is to not act.

They have 100 things going on in their life, so they’ll just keep doing what they’re doing.

But…

When an offer has a real deadline…

And it either goes away after that deadline…

Or they can no longer get the special pricing after the deadline…

It pushes people to act.

They’ll take a break from their day, and actually make a decision.

This is the power of deadlines. 

I can tell you from experience having promoted offers that didn’t have a deadline that the number of sales I make with a deadline is significantly higher.

Probably 30-40% higher.

So it’s a big deal. 

And if you want to maximize sales to your list (or for your clients)…

I highly suggest utilizing deadlines.

Cause they flat out work.
