Here’s a question I think you should ask yourself…

“How much money is enough?”

In my experience, most people don’t have ANY idea how much money they need.

And that’s true for their yearly income…

As well as how much money they’d need to retire…

They simply don’t know.

So they just keep trying to make more and more.

And while there’s nothing wrong with making more money…

At a certain point you’re just making money for money’s sake.

It’s not really going to change your life…

But it will be extra work…

So it may not be worth it to you.

This is why it’s important to ask yourself “when is enough, enough?”

I know my view on this is different from most entrepreneurs.

Cause most entrepreneurs that hit $1 million are trying to figure out how to get to $5 million or $10 million…

And I have no problem with that.

Whatever floats your boat.

What I’m saying is that there’s another way to look at this besides the “more, more, more” lens.

Take me for example…

Even when I was crushing it and making $2+ million a year, my expenses were only about $200,000 a year.

So I had a LOT of left over money.

Which was great…

I was able to put most of it in my Vanguard account…

And to buy crypto and real estate with it…

However…

When I was making $2 mil a year, I didn’t see a huge need to try and figure out how to get to $5 million a year.

Obviously, I’d take $5 million a year if it came to me…

But I didn’t have a lot of interest in putting in the work to get to that number.

I knew it’d be more stress…

And more of my time…

Yet going from $2 million to $5 million wasn’t going to change my life in any sort of meaningful way.

So I never went after it.

And like I said, I’m well aware that my thinking on this is different from most entrepreneurs.

But I think it’s worth thinking about…

“How much money is enough for you?”

That number will be different for everyone.

But what’s important is that you figure out what that number is for yourself.

Get clear on how much you want to make…

And how much work/stress you’re willing to put in to make that happen.

My bet is that what you need and what you “think” you need will be quite different.

So I encourage you to give it some thought.

Make sense?

I hope so.

Cause that’s all I got for ya today.

Enjoy your Thursday.
