Take a look at this picture…

That’s me in the middle in the navy polo shirt…

This pic is from the first marketing event I ever went to in 2006.

The event was for affiliates in the poker industry.

I was making like $300-$500 a month at the time as an affiliate.

Which wasn’t anything to brag about…

But I was in college, so that was a lot of money to me.

However, I knew I wanted to learn more…

So I ponied up what little money I had, bought a ticket to the event, and flew to Vegas.

When I got there I immediately felt out of place.

Most of the guys at the event were making 6 or 7 figures a year.

They were all in nice suits and staying at top-of-the-line hotels like Caesar’s.

Me on the otherhand…

I was in a smoke-filled room at Circus Circus for $49 a night.

It was the only thing I could afford.

When we went to dinner, I ordered the $8 side salad.

Or I stayed in my room and ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches that I bought at the grocery store.

I didn’t dare spend anymore money than I could afford.

And as much as I didn’t fit in with the guys who were crushing it at this event…

The event ended up changing the course of my life.

Why?

Cause more than content that was presented…

More than the tactics I learned…

I was exposed to what was possible.

I remember meeting a kid from England that was like 17 years old who was raking in $30k a month as an affiliate.

That blew my mind.

I met the guys from PocketFives (which was a huge site about tournament poker) and they were doing a few million a year from their site.

It was the first time it dawned on me that this could be a real business.

Up until that point, I never saw it that way…

I just looked at it as something that provided me beer money in college.

So hearing these stories…

And seeing what was possible was life-changing for me.

It shifted my mind completely.

I remember leaving that event inspired…

And feeling like I could definitely take this to the next level.

Which was exactly what happened.

Cause in the years that followed…

I went from dabbling with this poker affiliate stuff to making a living doing it.

I even hit 6 figures in 2008 with it.

But that’s the power of being around people who are doing better than you.

It pushes you to level-up your game.

And helps you to see what’s possible.

Doesn’t matter if you’re a newbie…

Or if you’re already doing $20 mil a year…

Being around people who are doing 5-10x what you’re doing, will change the way you think.

That’s the real benefit of events.

And that’s what I hope you’ll get out of our upcoming Copy Accelerator event.

By the end of the 2.5 days you’ll have heard from me, Stefan Georgi, Emily Lark, Dan Ferrari, Amber Spears, Marcella Allison, Mike Buontempo, Carline Anglade-Cole and David Deutsch.

You’ll have a notebook full of new ideas…

And a new perspective on what’s possible for you.

I can’t wait for you to be a part of it.

Only problem is the ticket sales are ending soon.

This is the last week we will be selling tickets for the virtual event.

So if you want to join us…

I would not dilly-dally.

You can get all the info on the event…

And read up on what each of the speakers will be talking about right here

My hope is that this event changes your life like the one I went to in 2006 did for me.

Here’s the link again to check it out…
