reader asks why I don’t have offers in non-copywriting niches (my response)

A question came into my inbox last night asking why I don’t have offers in niches other than copywriting…

Russell Brunson has Clickfunnels, but he also has offers in niches like supplements, and food products.  

Is there a reason you don’t have offers in other niches?

I think it would give you more things to share.

Great question.

It certainly would give me more things to share.

However, I don’t have offers in other niches for one very simple reason…

I’m not interested in being in a niche that I’m not passionate about.

And the main thing I’m passionate about right now is email copy, list building and being an entrepreneur.

That’s what I like talking about…

And that’s what I like helping other people with.

So that’s why I’m in this niche…

The reality is that I’ve had offers in other niches before…

Back in 2010 I had a fitness offer on Clickbank that made 6-figures…

And from 2014-2017 I had anti-aging offers that did over $31 million in sales…

So I’ve been in other niches before…

And I’ve actually made the bulk of my fortune from non-copywriting niches…

But here’s the thing…

I was never that interested in those businesses even when I was in them.

When I had my anti-aging biz, I wasn’t reading books about anti-aging remedies for fun…

Or talking about the latest ways to reverse aging when I was at a dinner party…

That wasn’t my passion.

I was simply doing it cause it was a profitable niche.

But these days when I get to talk about email copy…

Or growing a list…

I get really excited.

Cause it’s a passion of mine.

I like talking about this stuff…

And I like teaching it to others.

So that’s why I’m in this niche.

And my suggestion is that you should always choose a niche that you’re passionate about…

That you’re good at…

And that allows you to make the kind of money you want to make…

If you hit all three of those…

You’ll be a happy camper.
