If you ever find yourself on the side of the majority, run!  Cause the majority is almost always wrong

This is a line I heard Dan Kennedy say many years ago.

And it stuck with me.

Why?

Because I think he was spot-on.

Think about it…

In nearly every area of life…

Health, wealth, relationships, happiness…

The majority aren’t doing it right.

So when it comes to health…

The majority is overweight…

They’re sick…

They’ve got blood sugar issues…

They don’t exercise…

That’s the majority.

Same goes for wealth.

The majority lives paycheck to paycheck.

They have no savings.

They barely have any investments (maybe a 401k)…

The majority just hopes they can make it to 65 so they can live off their social security check for their remaining years…

That’s the majority.

That’s how they live.

And like I said they live like this in every important area of life.

So as Dan Kennedy was saying, you don’t want to mimic anything these people are doing.

However (and this is the funny part)…

Whenever you do do something that’s different from the majority, they look at you like you’re crazy.

Stop eating fast food?  You’re crazy!

Live on less money than you make?  You’re crazy!

Actually take time to be present with your spouse and your kids?  You’re crazy!

The majority is used to simply following what everyone else does.

They don’t think for themselves.

They don’t sit down and actually figure out what’s best for them.

They just do what the majority does.

So as Dan said, anytime you find yourself on the side of the majority, run!

You don’t want to be in the same camp as these people.

You want to be on the other side.

With people who think for themselves.

That’s a big lesson from ole’ grumpy Dan.

And it’s one that I hope you take to heart.

Cause when you stop doing what the majority does, your life will get a whole lot better.

That’s all I got for today…

Enjoy your Wednesday,
