One of the #1 killers when it comes to sales, is people being confused and not knowing what to do.

For example…

I’m in Boise right now speaking at Russell Brunson’s mastermind.

Which means yesterday I had to hop on a flight from Austin to Boise.

Well, while I was going through security at the airport, the main person that helps with the bins and getting your bags through security, wasn’t there.

So everyone was left to fend for themselves.

And guess what happened?

Chaos.

Most people had no idea what to do…

They didn’t know they had to take their laptop out and put it in a bin.

They didn’t know they had to take their shoes off.

You had hundreds of people just looking at each other and wondering “what am I supposed to do?”.

It was madness.

Even me, as much as I travel, I was confused by what I should be doing.

Cause every airport is different.

Howver, funny thing is…

There’s an incredible selling lesson in all of this chaos I saw at the airport…

Because if you want people to act…

If you want them to buy…

Then they can’t be confused.

Confusion kills sales.

People are not as informed as you think they are.

They don’t instinctually know what to do.

They have to be told what to do.

So think about how you can apply this in copy…

You might think it’s obvious that they should click the big orange button below your VSL…

Or that it’s obvious that they need to put their information in the fields on the checkout page.

But that’s not obvious for most people.

So you should tell them EXACTLY what they need to do.

Now, all of this probably seems like common sense to you and I…

But for most people buying from you, it’s not.

They’re confused about what to do.

So they need direction.

And it’s your job to make sure they know exactly what they’re supposed to do.

And I promise…

If you do this, and you eliminate the confusion, you’ll make a whole lot more sales.

That’s all I got for today…

Enjoy your Tuesday…
