One of my top priorities is convenience.  I’ll pay a lot for convenience

This a quote Ramit Sethi mentioned on a recent podcast about personal finance…

And I immediately agreed with him.

Cause I’m also a big fan of paying for convenience.

For example…

Last summer I realized that I was spending a lot of time in the morning doing stuff that was killing my work flow.

Which was an issue…

Cause mornings are when I’m the most productive.

So I hopped on Craigslist and decided to hire someone to basically “help around the house” in the morning.

And guess what?

Paying for that convenience been a game-changer.

The girl I hired (Heather) comes over every morning around 8 or 9 AM, and makes my life a whole lot easier.

She cleans the kitchen and puts all the dishes away…

She tidies up my living room…

She lets George outside and puts fresh blankets on his bed.

She refreshes George’s water bowl.

She makes my bed, and picks up anything laying around my room/bathroom.

She brings me pre-cooked meals every 3 days.

She runs errands for me.

And then if I have anything that needs taken to the Post Office or to UPS she handles that as well.

It’s a LOT of stuff that she does for me.

And sure it’s all stuff I can do myself…

But I’m GLAD to pay someone to do it.

Because like Ramit, I value convenience.

I value not having to do stuff that I don’t like doing (like cleaning my kitchen).

And I value having a few hours of uninterrupted work flow in the morning.

So if I can pay someone to make that happen…

I’m glad to do it.

Maybe this resonates with you…

Maybe not…

But if you’re a high-achieving entrepreneur, it’s worth it to shell out some money to free up your time.

And to make your life easier.

Especially if that’s something you value.

So keep that in mind.

That’s all I got for ya today.

Enjoy your Friday,
