One of the most valuable things that can happen to you is having your reality of what’s possible completely shattered.
For example…
Back in 2004 I was just getting started online, and I was trying to make money as a poker affiliate.
I had no idea what I was doing at the time…
But I managed to create a few pages that ranked well in Google for poker keywords.
So every month I was making between $300-$500 in affiliate commissions from those pages.
Which at the age of 21, was a big deal.
I thought I was rich.
However…
About a year later, I stumbled on a forum where a bunch of other poker affiliates hung out.
And I quickly realized that one of the guys on the forum (Jeremy) was making over 6-figures a year as a poker affiliate.
Which completely blew my mind.
I didn’t even know that was possible.
Hell, I didn’t even know that you could do this for a living!
Everyone I knew growing up in Ohio had REAL jobs (like working at the Ford plant).
Making 6-figures as an affiliate was not even in my worldview.
But he was doing it.
And the more I hungout on the forum…
The more my reality started to shift.
I started to see a whole new way to make money.
I realized I didn’t have to have a typical 9-5 job like my parents.
I could do my own thing.
I could be in control of my own income.
And that was HUGE for me.
I mean, it literally changed the course of my life.
Cause before that, I didn’t think any of this was possible.
And that kind of brings me full circle to the point I made at the beginning of this email.

I’ve seen this magic over and over again…
Like when Michael Rochin came to our Copy Accelerator event in Vegas, and was just “hoping” that he could make $2k a month writing copy…
After 3 days of being in that room, and talking to guys making $10k, $20k and even $40k a month writing copy…
Michael’s idea of what was possible completely shifted.
And it’s a big reason why he’s making $10k+ a month now-a-days as a copywriter.
Same thing happened with Conor Boyland as well…
At our first Austin event, Conor was convinced that getting an offer to convert on cold traffic in the dating niche was “impossible”.
But after 3 days of meeting people who had offers converting on cold traffic, his whole perspective shifted.
Why?
Because he realized it wasn’t as hard as he thought.
“If all these people are doing it, then why can’t I” he said.
That was a big moment for Connor.
Cause today, his offer is doing 100+ sales on cold Youtube traffic every single day.
Which is impressive.
But that probably wouldn’t have happened if he didn’t have his belief shattered that “converting on cold traffic is impossible”.
That’s where it all started…
And that’s why this is so important.
