I actually wrote about this the other day.
My biggest loss isn’t from a coin I bought.
It’s a coin I didn’t buy.
Here’s the story…
Back in 2021 my buddy Mike Dillard was beating the drums of a little known crypto called Solana.
It was trading for $3.14.
I had no idea what Solana was…
Or what it even did…
So I ignored Mike’s advice…
And instead of buying Solana…
I put $20,000 into a Solana competitor called Algorand.
At the time Algorand was trading at $1.80.
And a guy I followed on Twitter was convinced that Algorand was gonna be the next big thing.

Algorand plummeted from $1.80 down to .24 cents…
While Solana exploded from $3 to $190 today…
That means…
If I had simply listened to Mike…
And put the $20,000 into Solana…
I’d be sitting on a cool $1.1 million dollars instead of the $2400 I currently have!
Talk about a punch in the gut.
But I deserved it.
I got cocky…
And I thought I knew more than a guy who has made tens of millions of dollars from crypto.
So I paid the price for it.
