Yesterday I came across numerous Reddit threads  that show just how fed-up most copywriters are with Upwork.

Here’s a little taste of the headlines I saw…

“Upwork is an absolute cesspool lately”

“Gigs on Upwork suck”

“Upwork has never been this slow for me”

“Upwork sucks now… what is everyone else using?”

“Upwork is dying and I’m trapped”

“Why can’t I land a single job on Upwork?”

This went on and on and on and on…

It seems Upwork is not what it once was…

Mostly because of AI.

A lot of the beginner level copy jobs that people used to snag on Upwork seem to have dried up once AI came around…

And many of the jobs that are still on there, are paying sweat-shop like wages…

So it’s not exactly a hot spot to get clients.

Which is why a lot of copywriters who used to rely on Upwork are struggling…

And looking for a new way to get clients.

If that sounds like you…

Here’s my advice…

I suggest you break free of your addiction to Upwork while you can.

Why?

Cause when you use Upwork, you’re literally forced to compete against hundreds of other copywriters.

So there’s one business owner…

And then hundreds of copywriters lined up trying to impress that business owner to get a job.

Does that sound like a good setup for you?

Nope.

It’s the same thing as the dopes that go on the Bachelorette and compete with 30 other guys for the same woman.

It’s horrible odds.

And the deck is stacked against you.

You don’t want to be one of the 30 guys on the Bachelorette…

And you don’t want to be one of hundreds of copywriters on Upwork…

You want to be one of one.

That way the odds are in your favor.

And you have a much better chance of standing out and getting hired.

Make sense?

So my advice is to get away from Upwork.

And find a client-getting method that is NOT flooded with hundreds of other copywriters.

I know that’s not the easiest thing to find…

But there is one way that I know of…

It works like gangbusters to get clients…

And literally no copywriters are using it…

It’s something I call “printed emails”

What’s a “printed email” you ask?

Well, it’s an email that you write…

And instead of emailing it to a potential client (like every other copywriter)…

You print it out and you send it to them in the mail.

Why the mail?

Because there’s literally no competition from other copywriters in the mail.

So your message stands out…

It gets their attention…

And it gives you a much better chance at getting hired.

I’ve only taught this method to one copywriter so far…

And since I taught it to him he’s used the “printed email” to land two different clients…

The first client was a $3500 a month email copy client in the business influencer space (think a Grant Cardone type)…

And the second one was a $6000 long-form sales letter for a gut health supplement.

So the “printed email” is getting results.

And here’s the best part…

These printed emails are not expensive to send.

The ones my friend sent cost less than $2.

And he only needed to send three of them to land his first client.

So for $6 he was able to land a $3500 a month email copy client.

Would you pay $6 to land a $3500 a month email copy client?

I hope so.

Cause that’s a hell of an ROI.

And a lot more effective than sludging through the swamp that Upwork has become…

Now, maybe my “printed email” method appeals to you…

Maybe it doesn’t…

But if it does…

I’m gonna host a training this Thursday showing you exactly how the “printed email” works.

On the training I’ll give you the actual “printed email” that you should send…

And I’ll also give you a list of 643 successful direct response and ecomm businesses that you can send your printed email to.

Plus…I’ll also show you how to get each businesses mailing address…

And I’ll even show you the exact person you should send your printed email to (this is important because you want to make sure it goes to a decision maker that can hire you)

So I’m going to show you all that on the training this Thursday.

The training will take place at 1 PM ET on Zoom.

If you can’t make it live to the training…

Or if you have to step away for any reason…

The training will be recorded and you’ll get a copy of the recordings, along with all the examples and swipes shared on the training.

So that’s what the training is all about.

I was originally planning to sell this for $997.

But after giving it a lot of thought…

I want to make sure this training is affordable for newer copywriters as well.

So instead of charging $997…

The training will be just $197.

You can also split that up into two payments of $99 if that’s easier on your cash flow.

So that’s the deal.

I will be limiting this training to 150 people…

That way there’s not tens of thousands of copywriters using the strategy.

So if you want one of the 150 spots on the training…

I suggest you snag one now while you can.

I don’t have a fancy sales page to sell you on this…

So if you want to be a part of the training…

And you want to see how you can land a good-paying copy client with a “printed email”…

Then simply head over to the checkout page and get signed up for the training right here

P.S – If you still have a question about the training, I’ll answer a few of them down below…

Will this work for non-American copywriters?

Yes, as long as your country has a reliable postal system it will work for you.  Obviously it will cost a little more to send your printed emails (you’ll need to check your local mailing prices), but the method will still work if you’re outside the U.S.

How do I know who to send the printed email to?

I will give you a list of 643 direct response and ecomm businesses that have a big need for copy that you can send it to.

I’ll also show you how to get their address, so you know exactly where to send your printed email.

Won’t this method stop working if you teach it to a bunch of people?

This is why I’m limiting the training to 150 people.

If I taught it to 1000 people, it probably would get saturated pretty quickly…

But with 150 people, there won’t be an issue.

Keep in mind there are literally tens of thousands of online businesses you can send your printed email to (I’ll be giving you access to 643 of them).

So there is more than enough copy jobs available for everyone on the training to land a new gig.

Will this work for beginner copywriters?

Yes, as long as you have some copy skills and the ability to write emails, ads or sales pages.

If you have zero copy skills, then no it will not work for you.  And you should focus on improving your copy skills first.

But if you have some copy skills (even at a beginner level), then you should be able to land a client with it (I’ll show you how to target smaller clients that are perfect for beginners)

Hopefully I answered any questions you have…

If you want to get signed up for the training while there’s still spots available, you can do that right here
