Yesterday, a reader emailed me with an interesting question…
“I’ve been on your list since 2018, and it seems you’ve moved away from talking about copywriting and more into entrepreneurship, money, fulfillment type stuff. I love your emails, but I’m wondering what prompted the change?”
Good question.
I’d say there’s multiple reasons.
But the main one would be, it’s because my own thinking has shifted.
I used to focus solely on things like sales pages…
And conversions…
So I wrote about that.
But after coaching hundreds of copywriters and entrepreneurs these past few years, I realized there’s a lot more to it than just copy stuff.
For example…
I talk a lot about not making your work the only thing in your life.
You don’t want to be grinding 12 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Why?
Because it will end badly.
I’ve seen too many entrepreneurs do it (myself included).
You wind up burnt out…
You lose interest in your business…
Problems flare-up with your spouse…
It’s an ugly process.
So even though a person like this might be awesome at marketing…
They’re still not living the life they want.
Cause they don’t see the bigger picture.
And that’s where my focus has been lately.
I’m all about the trifecta of money, freedom and happiness.
That’s what I strive for.
And what I preach.
If you can nail all three of those, you’re living a pretty good life.
So that’s what I’ve been writing about.
I want to help you see the bigger picture, and help you get the life you want.
That’s why you see me talking about things like building wealth…
Or the emotional side of being an entrepreneur.
It’s where my mind is…
So that’s why you’ve seen a shift in my emails over the last few months.
