One of the most important questions you can ask before embarking on something in your business is “do I REALLY want to do this day-in and day-out for the next year?

And here’s what I mean by that…

I’ve been on a Youtube binge lately watching all kinds of videos on crypto, poker and investing.

There’s a few people I regularly watch on Youtube that have built really big followings (over a million subscribers).

Almost everytime I watch these videos, a bit of regret pops in my head…

Why?

Cause I know I could build a successful channel just like they did.

One that would help a ton of people with internet marketing…

And bring me a much bigger audience.

So I get all excited…

And start thinking about how much it could explode my business.

But then reality hits.

I start to realize just how much work this would be.

The hours and hours of filming…

The editing…

The pressure to put out new videos everyday.

It’s a lot of work.

And here’s the cherry on top.

I’ve filmed stuff before, and I absolutely hate filming stuff.

Whether it’s filming for Youtube…

Or for Instagram…

Whatever it is, I don’t enjoy filming stuff.

I prefer to write.

I’m much better at writing…

And I actually enjoy it.

So even though Youtube is this big opportunity, I don’t see myself going all-in on it…

Cause it’s not something I would enjoy doing day-in and day-out for the next 12 months…

And there’s a big lesson in there for you.

There will always be tons of opportunities in your business.

But you’re not going to enjoy them all equally.

If I hated writing emails, this daily email would have been a terrible choice.

But I like writing emails.

So writing this every morning doesn’t feel like work.

So next time you think about starting something new…

Or jumping into a new opportunity…

Ask yourself if this is something you’d want to do everyday for the next 12 months…

Cause that’s what you need to commit to.

And if the answer is “maybe” or “no” then you probably shouldn’t do it.

Asking that one little question could end up saving you a whole lot of money, frustration and wasted time.

Hope this was helpful…
