Many, many moons ago when I was running my supplement company, I quickly realized that our sales were never great on Fridays.

Why?

I don’t know for sure…

But my gut tells me that on Friday most people are already in “weekend mode”.

They’re making plans for dinner…

They’re thinking of a birthday party that’s happening Saturday night.

Their focus is on “fun”.

So they don’t really care about things like fixing their health…

Or making sure they have enough money for retirement…

For them, it’s the end of the work week.

And this means “checking out” of all the realities going on in their life.

I believe that’s why my sales were never great on Fridays.

And ever since I discovered this, I’ve always been acutely aware of it.

For example, when Stefan and I run our Copy Accelerator events, I always push to have them during the middle of the week.

Why?

Cause I don’t like having people in “weekend mode” when we’re running an event.

I don’t want them going out and getting drunk after the event on Friday, and then stumbling into the event at noon on Saturday.

That’s no good.

So I always try to have our events during the week if possible.

And here’s the thing…

No matter what niche you are in, you probably have days that your stuff sells very well.

And days where sales slump.

This is completely normal.

But the key is figuring out which days those are.

Cause you don’t want to be dumping a bunch of money into media buys…

Or a launch…

And have it on one of your “bad days”.

Make sense?

Hope so.  Cause that’s all I got for ya today.

Enjoy your Friday.
