Back when I was in my 20’s, I was a massive people pleaser who was always running myself ragged trying to make everyone else happy.

If a client frantically texted me at 10 PM about a project, I made sure I responded…

And if a client asked me to write some extra emails, or extra ads (without paying me more), I did it cause I wanted to make them happy.

I did this over and over again in my 20’s.

I always put everyone else first.

And it was a huge mistake.

Cause it led to me always being pissed off.

And feeling like I had no control over my life.

So I was in a pretty rough spot becuase of this.

But if you fast forward to today…

Pretty much everything I do in my business today is on my terms.

If I do a 1-on-1 day with a client, it’s always at my house so I don’t have to deal with traveling…

If someone on my email list is being difficult, I don’t try to reason with them, I simply remove them from my list…

If an affiliate wants me to promote their offer, and their payout isn’t up to my standards, I simply say “if you want me to promote this, the payout needs to be $x”…

So I’m always putting myself first.

And doing business on my terms.

Which is a complete 180 from how I used to be…

And I can tell you that since I made this switch…

My business is a lot more fun…

And way more fulfilling.

Cause my business is now an extension of me.

It’s not about making everyone else happy.

It’s about me having the impact I want to have…

The freedom I want to have…

And running a business day-in and day-out that I truly enjoy.

Point being…

If you want to enjoy your business…

And not feel like you’re at the mercy of everyone else…

You need to do things on YOUR terms.

That’s a simple lesson…

But it’s one that will make your biz and your life a whole lot more enjoyable.

So keep it in mind.

And enjoy your Saturday,
