I had a big breakthrough yesterday when it comes to how I market my own offers.

Here’s the story…

Stefan and I are out in San Francisco right now doing a 3-day workshop on taking our live events to the next level.

Yesterday was the first day of the workshop.

And it was eye-opening to say the least.

Why?

Because our coach (Jen) forced us to really dial-in who we are and what we’re offering.

For example…

In our Copy Accelerator mastermind, we teach all kinds of stuff about getting your offer to work on cold traffic.

So we help our members with their sales pages…

Their upsells…

Crafting offers…

Writing emails…

It’s a wide range of stuff.

But Jen forced us to boil it down to three things.

What are your three pillars? And what makes those pillars unique?

After about an hour of trying to narrow it down, we figured it out.

Ads -> Sales Pages -> Upsells

That’s really the meat of what we teach.

And we have unique methods for each one.

Like for sales pages, it’s all about Stefan’s RMBC  method.

This is the copy method he came up based on selling over $700 million worth of products online.

And becoming the #1 copywriter in the world.

And it works like a charm.

Why?

Because it’s simple.

It’s fast (Stefan writes full sales pages in about 3 days)

And it’s also repeatable for ANY level copywriter.

Literally we have brand new copywriters in our group that follow the RMBC method to the “T” and are putting out winning copy for the first time in their life. 

So that’s an example of one of our pillars.

What’s funny is that yesterday, both Stefan and I mentioned that what Jen was doing for us is exactly what we do for our Copy Accelerator members.

She’s coming in as a fresh set of eyes.

And showing us all the problems she sees. 

Which is what we need.

Cause here’s the truth…

As good as Stefan and I are at marketing…

And as successful as we are as entrepreneurs…

We’re TOO CLOSE to the situation!

We can’t see what we’re doing wrong.

And we can’t see the blind spots that someone else can see.

So we need someone else to be that fresh set of eyes for us.

And guess what?

This happens in every business.

Right now I can bet there are problems with your sales pages…

Or your upsells that you aren’t even aware of…

Why?

Cause you’re “too far in the weeds”.

You’ve seen the page too many times.

So now you’re blind to the problems.

But if  Stefan or I took a look at it for 30 minutes, I’d bet we’d see 3 or 4 things we could change that would give you a big sales boost. 

That’s the power of “fresh eyes”.

And everytime I’ve paid someone to be a set of “fresh eyes” on my business it’s been a massive ROI.

Honestly I’m an idiot for not doing it more often.

Cause it always makes me more money.

But this weekend has really woken me up to it’s power.

So my suggestion?

Get a pair of fresh eyes on your offers.

Have someone dig throuogh your VSL…

Or your upsells…

Or your emails you’re using to promote it.

I promise, it will pay off in spades.

Make sense?
